Eligible Majors & Occupations

To be eligible for the WV STEM Scholarship, students must be enrolled in an eligible major and agree to work full time in the engineering, science or technology field in WV for each year the scholarship is received. While your major may be eligible for an award, your intended occupation may not qualify for cancelation. Occupations within the health care field do not qualify as an approved STEM field for this scholarship and do not count toward cancellation.
