Join us for an informative Financial Aid session!
Join us for an informative session on why applying for financial aid is a crucial step in making college more affordable. Learn how financial aid—through FAFSA, grants, scholarships, and loans—can significantly reduce the cost of education, open up more opportunities, and ensure you don’t miss out on valuable funding.
Whether you’re a student or a parent, this event will help you understand how early application and proper planning can make a big difference. Whether you’re a student, parent, or guardian, this free, in-person event will guide you through the financial aid process—including FAFSA, scholarships, grants, and loans.
Who Should Attend?
- High school seniors and college students
- Parents or guardians of students
- Anyone planning to file the FAFSA for the upcoming academic year
To complete the FAFSA, the student will need:
• their Social Security Number or their Alien Registration Number (if they are not a U.S. citizen)
You may also want to bring: (these are not always necessary, but may be helpful)
• 2024 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned.
• Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
• Records of child support received in the last calendar year.
If they are a dependent student, you will also need their parent(s) email.
Parents:
You will need to have your student’s social security number and their email to begin a FAFSA for the student, but it is recommended that the student start their own FAFSA. You may also want to bring information from the items listed above, under “You may also want to bring”.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get expert help and have your questions answered. Register now, mark your calendar, and look out for reminder emails from Eventbrite!
