Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program
The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program is designed to promote student excellence and achievement and to recognize exceptionally able students who show promise of continued excellence.
These $1,500 scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit for study at an institution of higher education.
Recipients may apply for renewal consideration for a total of four (4) years of assistance.
Scholarship Application
Students should make initial application for this program through their school counselor.
Because of limited funding, high schools with a senior class of one to one hundred ninety-nine (1 to 199) students may submit one (1) application and schools with a senior class enrollment of two hundred or more (200+) may submit two (2) applications.
